Associate - Complex Commercial Litigation 5 - 12 yrs

Join forces with one of the fastest-growing firms in the AMLAW 200, to help drive their busy and varied Complex Litigation practice forwards. An excellent mid-market national firm (currently 8 offices) with a strong reputation for not taking themselves too seriously, this impressive Litigation group is looking for 3 Litigation attorneys in New York to bolster their roster at anywhere between 2 and 12 years experience (ideally 1 junior, 1 mid level and 1 senior level associate). On offer is a very collegiate approach and a varied practice, with a slight leaning towards financial services litigation. Billable hours expectations are 1900, with strong bonuses on top for those hitting this threshold. The culture is sophisticated work in a relaxed, highly supportive environment a world away from the relentless grinding and competition of traditional BigLaw. You'll need to have a minimum 2 yrs experience of Complex Commercial Litigation, and have had exposure to the whole of the litigation cycle. At the junior end there is no expectation of significant previous involvement in depositions, but by mid-level they would expect you to have conducted depositions on both sides of the arguement. At more senior levels there is definitely potential for Partnership for those with either a portable existing practice, or strong developmental skills to build a portfolio.
