On the firm and how her family inspires her and drives her approach to work
BPS Family Law operates as a company between our offices in Hale and Manchester city centre. We’re delighted to be on the brink of celebrating our sixth anniversary after this month and launching our new website.
Right from the start, we set out to do something a bit different, to offer members of the public the best possible service for their particular need in the most compassionate and caring way. We are not about cashing in on people’s upset. It’s about achieving the best possible outcome for families.
I work closely with fellow partners Harry Lipson and Sefton Kwasnik who between them have enjoyed almost eight decades in law. We take pride in working in pairs so clients get the best service possible from our combined skillsets. In this day and age, you have to be flexible - it’s what the public and professionals want.
I represent national and international high net worth clients on their divorce and financial separation. Our team also represent clients who have child related disputes.
As a mum-of-two I take great inspiration from my children and husband. That solid base, combined with a love of travel, allows me to build close relationships with my colleagues and clients.
I studied Law at Manchester Metropolitan University and always knew I wanted to specialise in Family Law. As a partner at BPS I’ve worked incredibly hard to get where I am and love to spend my downtime with my children and husband. We spend the weekend engaging in activities which are usually determined by the weather such as the zoo, the park, the beach, indoor play areas and nice restaurants. We also all enjoy taking our family dog on long walks – which also tires the children out!
When it comes to holidays we tend to go away four or five times a year to various locations. As a lover of winter sun Barbados is by far my favourite destination. St James has some fantastic beaches and venues and is always good for celebrity spotting!
Going forward with the business we want to continue to work with clients on a realistic and pure basis – as I don’t think a lot of the bigger firms do that. The holistic situation for any family is what matters most and that is our passion
