DWF has appointed Julie Galbraith as its new executive partner in Belfast. Galbraith joined C&H Jefferson as a trainee in 1998 and was a partner when the business merged with DWF in 2016. She is head of real estate in Northern Ireland and manages a team of legal professionals advising on real estate law and has particular experience in acting for retailers, commercial occupiers, developers and investors. She takes up the role on the retirement of executive partner Ken Rutherford.
Lewis Silkin has announced the appointment of Paul Gillen as an employment partner in the firm’s Belfast office. Advising on both contentious and non- contentious matters, Gillen advises on all aspects of Northern Ireland, Great Britain and Republic of Ireland employment laws. His sector experience includes IT, technology, FMCG, manufacturing, energy, retail, universities and financial services, as well as public sector entities.

Lewis Silkin has combined its two premises in Belfast into a new office in Linenhall Street. The firm will be based at its new address (32-38 Linenhall Street) from Monday 15 August 2022 replacing the firm’s offices on Lombard Street and Ormeau Road.
