What time did you wake up this morning?
5.00am – my normal wake up time to get ahead on the day.
What’s your favourite object in your office?
My pen.
Who is your closest colleague?
My assistant who helps me with absolutely everything.
Do you have a favourite family heirloom?
Not that I can think of.
What’s your favourite song of all time?
Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones.
What’s your favourite play?
The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler.
Who’s your favourite movie star?
Jack Nicholson.
What’s your favourite book?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho – a very inspiring read.
What book are you reading right now?
The Zero Waste Home by Bea Johnson. It’s such an important topic that we should all try and implement in our daily lives.
What book do you wish you had written?
Eat Pray Love – Elizabeth Gilbert has a real gift.
What’s the greatest invention of all time?
The computer – which I now spend hours a day in front of!
Is there a sport that you wish you could play?
Not really – I’m more into yoga.
Who inspires you in business?
This week it’s Sarah Ball, our Operations Director here at IM. Her job is absolutely manic and she balances it all with grace.
Dress up, dress down or somewhere in between?
Somewhere in between – our new ‘dress for our day’ policy means we can choose either way, which is working really well so far.
Where do you go to relax?
Usually at home on the farm, but currently due to the renovations that are going on there it’s at work!
What country have you always wanted to visit?
India – such a vibrant and frenetic country.
Besides your phone, what do you always have with you?
The classic notepad and pen.
What’s the best part about your job?
Helping people. I love that it makes a real difference to their lives.
What’s your favourite post-work tipple?
A glass of Rioja does the trick.
Finally, what’s your guilty pleasure?
I don’t really do guilt…
