7.30 a.m.
What’s your favourite object in your office?
My coffee

Who is your closest colleague?
An
impossible question, really. I have many close colleagues who I trust and rely
upon for support and guidance.
Do you have a favourite family heirloom?
Not
particularly.
What’s your favourite song of all time?
Fool in
the Rain by Led Zeppelin.
What’s your favourite play?
I don’t
really do plays, so I can’t say.
Who’s your favourite movie star?
Leonardo
DiCaprio.
What’s your favourite book?
It’s
three books really: the original Bourne Trilogy by Robert Ludlum.
What book are you reading right now?
The Rooster Bar by John Grisham.
What book do you wish you had written?
I don’t
think I would ever have the patience to write a book!
What’s the greatest invention of all time?
The Internet.
Is there a sport that you wish you could play?
Not a
sport you would ‘play’, but I thought the other day that water-skiing would be
pretty cool.
Who inspires you in business?
Many of
the founders and managers of lots of our clients who are succeeding against the
odds.
Dress up, dress down or somewhere in between?
Down. I’d
work in my PJs if I could!
Where do you go to relax?
Home.
What country have you always wanted to visit?
I have
always been very intrigued to visit China, which I did earlier this year. Next
would be South Africa.
Besides your phone, what do you always have with you?
My
wallet.
What’s the best part about your job?
Talking
to business owners and managers about their companies and the vital things they
need to get right to achieve their ambitions; then helping them do just that.
What’s your favourite post-work tipple?
A cold
beer.

Chocolate hobnobs (and lots of
them).
