What’s your favourite object in your office?
My mug – an object of beauty decorated by my then seven year old daughter whilst at a friend’s birthday party. The mug shows the pained expression of a dog’s face on the front as he throws up between his paws. On the back we can see the dog defecating from its behind. It’s not even my dog but the neighbour’s dog. As I say - an object of beauty.
Who is your closest colleague?
My two fellow business partners Richard Timperley and Dominic Mackenzie. Don’t make me choose.
Do you have a favourite family heirloom?
A hallway console table.
What’s your favourite song of all time?
New Order – True Faith
What’s your favourite play?
It’s a toss-up between A Midsummers’ Night Dream and School of Rock.

The Flying Dormouse by F.D.Taylor (my grandfather)

Planes, trains and automobiles
Is there a sport that you wish you could play?
Cricket. I’d love to be a wicket keeper / batsman.
Who inspires you in business?
My two business partners (particularly) and each of my colleagues (generally). They all graft and care in equal measure.
Dress up, dress down or somewhere in between?
I’ve got to that age where I have started to enjoy a bit of smart casual.
Where do you go to relax?
On family holidays. I really don’t care where.
What country have you always wanted to visit?
India.
Besides your phone, what do you always have with you?
My spectacles and my optimism.

The juggling.
