How do you like to start the day?

After dropping the kids to school, I enjoy a quiet moment with a cup of coffee and a quick scan of the news. It helps me stay informed and focused for the day ahead.

What’s your favourite object in your office/home office?

I have a small plant on my desk. It reminds me of the importance of growth and balance in both work and life.

Who is your closest colleague?

That’s a tough one, as Arbor.law has such a collaborative atmosphere. However, I work particularly closely with my co-founders Kate and Ed, who each bring with them a unique and powerful blend of skills and talent.

Do you have a favourite family heirloom?

I have a family photo album that I treasure. It keeps me connected to my roots and reminds me of the importance of family.

What’s your favourite song of all time?

I enjoy listening to "Everlong" by Foo Fighters. It's a classic that always lifts my mood.

What’s your favourite play?

I find Hamlet fascinating. The themes of introspection and moral dilemma are timeless.

Who’s your favourite movie star?

I admire the versatility of actors like Benedict Cumberbatch. His range is impressive.

What’s your favourite book?

That's a difficult choice, but I'd have to say Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari. It offers a fascinating perspective on the history of humankind and our place in the world.

What book are you reading right now?

I'm currently reading The Ministry for the Future by Kim Stanley Robinson. It's a thought-provoking novel about climate change and potential solutions.

I admire entrepreneurs who innovate while staying grounded, like Richard Branson.

In the office do you dress up, dress down or somewhere in between?

Somewhere in between. I aim for smart casual – professional and approachable.

Where do you go to relax?

The golf course. It's a great way to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and clear my head.

What country have you always wanted to visit

Japan. I’m fascinated by its blend of ancient traditions and cutting-edge technology.

Besides your phone, what do you always have with you

My notebook and a pen. I still find that writing things down helps me to process information and generate ideas.

Helping founders navigate the legal complexities of scaling their businesses. Being a trusted partner on their journey is incredibly rewarding.

How do you unwind after work?

Spending time with my family, perhaps with a glass of wine.
