Articles From the Team
The 2012 seminar season begins…
After a short break, we are re-energised and ready to kick off our series of seminars for 2012. The full list will be released soon, so you can start to plan your CPD diary for this year, and our first free event will be held on 9 February in conjunction with Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester.
The topic is “Liability, Indemnities, Remedies and Limitations”, and this time commercial litigation partner Mark Molyneux will join commercial contracts associate Luke Stubbs, who spoke at our previous seminar – “Top Tips for Sales and Procurement Contracts”. This should provide an interesting take on the effects of certain terms of contracts on future litigation, and how it may be possible to limit or augment the normal legal position to your advantage.
As well as gaining up-to-date knowledge on the subject, attendees will also walk away with 1.5 hours of all important CPD points and a light breakfast – for early risers only, as breakfast is served at 08.30am…
You are probably aware by now (as we shout out about this fact at any given opportunity) that BCL Legal provided 2,500 CPD points to in-house lawyers in 2011. We have an extensive programme of events planned this year, and it remains to be seen if we can beat our own record!
This event has been very popular, but please contact laurenfield@bcllegal.com to see if we can squeeze you in. As always, we’re also interested to hear from in house lawyers about other useful topics that we could cover in future seminars, so we’d welcome your thoughts on this too.
Ruth and Mark look forward to seeing you there.
