Returning to work after maternity leave – placing legal professionals in Liverpool and Merseyside

I have recently returned to work from a second period of maternity leave, and I am thoroughly enjoying being back at work and enjoying being able to finish a (still hot) cup of tea! I dealt with the Liverpool personal injury market when I first began my legal recruitment career in 2003 and things have changed in the world of personal injury even more dramatically than Liverpool city centre has since my university days. It has made me feel nostalgic for my Liverpool University nights out and giving me flashbacks!

Returning to work after maternity leave can be an overwhelming time as you are keen to get your career back on track, yet also mindful (and sometimes feeling guilty!) that you are leaving children behind! You can feel like you have been in a Cavern, having been out of the office for several months and out of the loop in what has been happening in your absence.

Indeed anyone viewing the changing landscape of the Liverpool personal injury and insurance market could be forgiven for getting the Heebie Jeebies. Fixed fees and Portals have been a difficult Medication to swallow!

However Liverpool has stood firm as the thriving personal injury hub it has been for several years and continues to attract the Cream of the personal injury world. So rather than be stuck in a Time Tunnel it is definitely time to look forward in this flourishing market.
