Property Lawyers take advantage of market conditions
Commercial Property lawyers are now in short supply following a recession which rendered thousands of commercial property lawyers redundant or redeployed into other areas of law.
Law firms are forced to be creative in order to get the appropriate talent on board. We are seeing firms re-employ staff (boomerang recruitment), introduce remote and flexible working, increase salaries and benefits and retrain lawyers with transferable skills.
An example of the above occurs regularly when residential property lawyers are employed in commercial property roles, particularly where there is a ‘development’ focus. Firms are being more open to recruiters’ suggestions to consider ambitious candidates who see these market conditions as a perfect opportunity to leapfrog their career.
If you are looking for a new role in residential or commercial property and would like advice about the law firms that are currently recruiting, please contact Annette Hinchcliffe or visit our website BCL Legal.
