Making The Move

So it's that time… I am coming up to my probation. Wow, the last three months have flown by and I have learnt so much, not only about the world of conveyancing and legal recruitment but most importantly the BCL way.

It is a candidate driven market and so extremely important as consultants that we 'consult' and build rapport with each and every individual we help. From our initial phone call, questioning techniques to sending out congratulations cards every step of the process must be done with careful consideration. It really does pay off to have strong relationship with candidates.

I specialise in residential property across Yorkshire and it really is a booming market. With more and more people buying and selling property it's an exciting time to be a conveyancer. Over the last few months I have taken on some great roles ranging from Top 200 law firms to small niche property practices. Placing with the likes of Shulmans and Lupton Fawcett just highlights the quality of the firms we are working with.

As well as working with a range of quality firms, at BCL we heavily invest in candidate generation which allows us to create relevant shortlists and exceed client expectations. From trust and openness, to a willingness to engage, having full individual commitment, being accountable for everything we do and in turn creating the team results we all desire. This allows us to proposition ourselves differently from our competitors and gives every consultant a real insight into their specialism.

I am eager to learn more as I am training with the best. I am looking forward to contributing more to BCL's already great success and excited and hopeful to pass my probation with flying colors. Recruitment really is one big rollercoaster from the peaks and troughs there is never a dull moment! You have your good, bad and damn right down days but I work hard, I aim to be supportive of others around me and I aim to do a great and honest job for candidates and clients alike.
