Leeds Careers Talks Thursday 6th March, Central Bar Leeds.

We held our annual careers talks at The Central Bar in Leeds last Thursday and enjoyed a good turn out of trainee solicitors and newly qualified Solicitors embarking upon the next stage of their career. We gave the attendees an overview of the market locally and nationally, advising on the areas that are the most buoyant and those preferences where you may now need to think about specialising in your second choice. We were fortunate to have Morag Joyce, Real Estate Partner at DAC Beachcroft give an insight into her career to date, what she looks for in a CV and tips on interview techniques. Jason Curtis, Head of Legal and Company Secretary at Mamas & Papas gave an insight into the in-house market, how to make the transition and what you can expect from a typical day.
