It’s official: “HR Directors forced to change recruitment strategy for top talent”
A skills shortage which has stemmed from the recovery of the economic crisis is set to change the way HR Directors identify talent, according to a survey by Robert Half, and highlighted on www.recruitmentgrapevine.com
The research identified that more than half (56%) of hiring managers say that they are likely to change their recruitment style, while one in five (18%) are highly likely.
Almost all questioned (93%) said the lack of skills was very challenging and made it difficult to find the right talent.
Senior Managing Director at Robert Half UK, the finance recruitment company stated: “Hiring managers need to move quickly when they select a candidate for risk that they may be competing with other businesses for the most in-demand professionals”.
Here at BCL Legal we have been conveying this message for at least the last 6 months:
There are only a finite number of applicable lawyers for each role we are asked to assist with – the client that moves quickest is more than likely to get first pick of the who they would like to recruit. Make sure that is you!
