Highest paid jobs in 2014

It's official. Being an in- house lawyer is one of the highest paid jobs of 2014.

The Guardian recently highlighted which are the best paid jobs in the UK.  Coming in at Number 10 were ‘in-house lawyers’. The full article can be seen at:

When it comes to negotiating salary, given the current recruitment market for in-house lawyers is buoyant  a rough finger in the air would be that individuals are looking for at least a 10% increase on their current salary. Although moving roles should not just be about the money most people do recognise that this is when a salary increase can be achieved and therefore it is a major factor.
