Conveyancing awards highlight a bright future

All the talk around Coventry of late has been centered around the sky blues return to their beloved home, the Ricoh arena.  It’s been a big boost for the city and they are really looking to play on the sense of community at the club.

Wednesday 24th September saw the return to the Ricoh of a different community, a legal community that is currently riding the crest of a tsunami due to sustained buoyant market conditions.  The annual LFS conveyancing awards saw the stars of the country’s residential property world commended for their achievements of the last 12 months.  One of the messages delivered loud and clear from a respected member of the conveyancing community was the need for a new breed of residential conveyancer to keep a vibrant market moving forward a pace, bringing new ideas and vigour in an increasingly demanding market.

The event was clearly a huge success and highlighted how competitive the market currently is.   The big volume houses may still be producing huge numbers but it was Ramsdens who stole the show winning both their regional award and the coveted overall conveyancer award.  Everything points towards another busy year in the housing market and even more competition for conveyancing firms which can only be a good thing.
