Buyer demand continues to boom…

After a surge in UK sales during Spring 2014, transactions showed signs of slowing but when looking at the annual rate of growth, sales transactions are still up 17 per cent.

Rising prices and a tightening of mortgage lending criteria are still not deterring sales, which remain very high due to rising levels of buyer demand. As a result of this, sellers are being urged to take advantage of this.

In addition, figures from the Nationwide Building Society showed UK house price inflation at a seven-year high of 10.9%.
