BCL Legal’s 2015 Careers Talks confirmed in conjunction with the Leeds JLD

So another year is upon us and another wave of solicitors will soon be qualified. BCL Legal’s 2015 careers talks in conjunction with the Leeds JLD will be held at Tiger Tiger in Leeds on Tuesday 24th February.

We are delighted to announce our confirmed speakers are Morag Joyce, Real Estate Partner at DAC Beachcroft and Alistair Maiden, Senior Commercial Lawyer at Asda. We’ll be providing career advice not just to trainees approaching qualification, but also to solicitors with up to 5 years’ PQE on the next phase of their careers. We’ll be focussing on the current market conditions and how to best position yourself for a new role. You’ll be given an overview of both private practice and in-house and Morag and Alistair will discuss what they really look out for when a CV lands on their desk, what makes a candidate stand out and tips on how to progress your career.

The presentation will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions over complimentary drinks. Invites will be sent out to JLD members and candidates registered with BCL Legal over the coming weeks.
