All I want for Christmas is…. a new job… as an in house lawyer?

During the run up to Christmas, it can be difficult to find a moment of clarity to think about your current situation. However, once you have successfully negotiated the Christmas tree lights, selected the presents for loved ones, delivered them by postage deadlines and finally enjoyed the chosen bird.. a few days pass and for many of us, whether we celebrate this festival or not, find time in the aftermath to take stock of life and consider whether our career is going in the right direction.

The tradition of New Years’ resolutions provides a further opportunity to think about whether your current role is providing you with the fulfilment/financial benefit/work life balance or another factor which to you is key in achieving the desirable position.

Accordingly, it is important to think about what you want from your career as a lawyer and whether, should you not have sampled it already, a role as an in house lawyer is appealing. If this is something that may be of interest, then do give us a call to discuss your options.
