Professional Support Lawyer - Commercial & Technology Role Overview: BCL Legal are working with a national law firm who are seeking an accomplished Commercial and Technology lawyers for the position of Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) for their office based in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for those passionate about the technical aspects of law and seeking a new challenge. The candidate should ideally have prior PSL experience, but are also open to hearing from individuals currently in fee-earning roles who are interested in transitioning. The role is integral to maintaining a first-rate know-how platform for the lawyers in the Complex Contracts and IT & Tech sectors of the commercial team. The work will be intellectually challenging, drawing on the candidate's expertise to support fee-earners in delivering up-to-date, high-quality service to clients. The commercial team operates across a national office network, offering flexibility in the role's location, including the possibility of remote work. The work in the Complex Contracts and Technology teams is complex, interesting, and often high-profile, involving many large-scale national and cross-border projects. These teams specialise in areas such as supply chain, logistics, consumer law, public procurement, outsourcing, advertising/marketing/brand, IT outsourcing, IT procurement, FinTech, Web3, and the metaverse. As the dedicated PSL, the candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining the technical excellence and know-how of the team, influencing the development of this role.
