Insolvency Solicitor - Dispute Resolution | 2PQE BCL Legal is working with a highly regarded Insolvency team, praised in the Legal 500 for its competence in handling both non-contentious advisory work and contentious insolvency disputes. The team frequently handles work referred from London and national practices and has an extensive roster of Insolvency Practitioner clients. The firm are now looking to expand with the addition of a dynamic Insolvency Associate to support their growing practice in Hertfordshire. Key Responsibilities: Handling new client enquiries and managing insolvency matters. Advising on all aspects of corporate insolvency, including administration appointments (both in court and out of court), court applications under insolvency legislation, and providing guidance to Insolvency Practitioners (IPs), secured lenders, and directors. Managing property-related transactions within insolvency. Handling personal insolvency matters. Engaging in insolvency-related litigation. Providing direction and mentoring to junior team members. Skills & Experience: A minimum of 2 years of insolvency experience. Client-focused with a proactive approach to improving and maintaining strong client relationships. A commercial and pragmatic attitude toward dispute resolution.
