Commercial Property Solicitor - Associate BCL Legal is working with a prestigious Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked law firm, with offices in Hertfordshire and also internationally. The firm is currently seeking a talented Commercial Property Associate to join their dynamic and growing team in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with up to 3 years PQE to build on their commercial property experience and join a firm that is recognised for its commitment to excellence and its outstanding workplace culture. Role Overview: The successful candidate will join a friendly and energetic Commercial Property team, handling a diverse and growing caseload. The team acts for a wide range of clients, including regional house builders, property investors, funders, and trading businesses, providing expert advice on site acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and infrastructure agreements. Key responsibilities will include: Managing commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and joint ventures Advising clients on property development and infrastructure agreements Assisting with property investment, financing, and trading business property matters Developing strong client relationships and providing excellent client care Supporting business development and marketing initiatives Ideal Candidate: The firm is looking for a qualified lawyer with up to 3 years PQE and experience in commercial property law. The ideal candidate will have: A strong technical background in commercial property Commercial awareness and an ability to provide practical solutions Good client care skills and attention to detail Experience with document and practice management systems A desire to develop business development and marketing skills (if not already experienced in this area) While previous experience in developing client relationships and business development is desirable, it is not essential. The firm is keen to support the right candidate in further developing these skills.
