BCL Legal is working with a Top 200 UK law firm based in Essex to recruit a Senior Associate in their Commercial Property team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced real estate solicitor with over 6 years PQE to elevate their career at a well recognised practice.
About the Role:
The firm is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Solicitor ready to tackle high-quality and complex transactions.
You will be dealing with a wide range of commercial property matters, including multi-million-pound developments and regeneration projects. Additionally, you will act for prominent investors, some of whom are household names in their acquisition and portfolio management work.
The clientele also includes several international companies, where the team handles all aspects of their commercial property interests in the UK. You will also work with notable house builders on various property development projects and manage secured lending and restructuring work for multiple banks.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on a wide range of commercial property transactions, such as acquisitions, disposals, leases, and developments.
Independently manage a caseload, handling large-scale and intricate transactions with minimal supervision.
Provide strategic legal advice that aligns with clients' business objectives.
Draft and negotiate essential legal documents, including contracts and development agreements.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering solution-oriented legal advice.
Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff, fostering their professional development.
Engage in business development initiatives to enhance the department's client base.
What We're Looking For:
A qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial property law.
Proven ability to manage complex transactions independently.
Excellent client care skills and a knack for developing professional relationships.
A commercially savvy thinker who provides sound legal advice in line with clients' needs.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
A proactive approach to business development, with a genuine interest in contributing to the firm's growth.
