Commercial Real Estate Solicitor/Associate | 1-3 PQE | Cambridge BCL Legal is collaborating with an international law firm to recruit an Associate for their Commercial Real Estate team in Cambridge. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative clients in the energy and life sciences sectors, managing a diverse portfolio of real estate transactions and advisory work. Key Responsibilities: - Property Transactions: Manage the sales and purchases of commercial properties, including office spaces, retail units, and industrial sites. - Landlord and Tenant Matters: Handle all aspects of commercial landlord and tenant work, including lease negotiations, renewals, and disputes. - Development Projects: Support clients through the development process, from site acquisition and planning to construction and eventual sale or lease. - Energy and Infrastructure: Advise on real estate aspects of energy projects, such as renewable energy installations and infrastructure developments. - Strategic Land: Work on strategic land transactions, involving options, promotion agreements, and joint ventures. Requirements: - Qualified solicitor with 1-3 years PQE in commercial real estate. - Strong academic background and a broad range of real estate experience. - Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently. - Keen interest in working with clients in the energy and life sciences sectors.
