A Prestigious US law firm renowned for its global influence and innovative culture are looking for a Senior M&A Associate to join the team. This is a unique chance to join the London office, the one of the firm's largest and a pivotal hub for international operations. Role Overview: The firm is expanding its high-performing Corporate practice in London and is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join their ranks. This role offers the chance to work on complex, high-profile deals alongside leading professionals in the field. The London corporate team primarily advises on high-end corporate work, including public and private mergers and acquisitions (M&A), takeovers, debt-for-equity swaps, take privates, schemes of arrangement, and strategic corporate advice. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage high-value M&A transactions, with a focus on public M&A. - Advise on complex corporate matters, including strategic corporate advice and regulatory issues. - Represent multibillion-dollar investment funds on special situations, private credit investments, distressed investing, merger arbitrage, activist situations, and equity restructurings. - Provide counsel on domestic and cross-border regulatory and policy issues. Skills & Experience Required: - Proven expertise in high-value M&A transactions. - Experience or a keen interest in public M&A. - Outstanding academic credentials. - Superior communication skills. - Strong commercial mindset. - Prior experience working with energy clients or commercially sophisticated financial institutions, such as investment banks, hedge funds, institutional lenders, and other major investors.
