Prestigious US Law Firm - Energy Associate Are you an experienced energy lawyer seeking to elevate your career within a prestigious and dynamic environment? This role offers the chance to join a top-tier global law firm, renowned for its market-leading practices and commitment to innovation, diversity, and collaboration. This US firm is seeking an energy lawyer with a minimum of 3-4 years post-qualification experience to join its esteemed London team. This role is integral to the Corporate practice, working closely with leading energy partners. Key Responsibilities: · Advise on upstream M&A transactions, including the negotiation and entry into upstream agreements such as Concessions, Production Sharing Agreements, and Joint Operating Agreements. · Engage with energy clients and commercially-minded financial institutions, including investment banks, hedge funds, and institutional lenders. · Contribute to the firm's extensive work in oil and gas, power, and renewable energy sectors, encompassing M&A, project development, finance, and dispute resolution. Desired Skills and Experience: · Proven experience in upstream M&A transactions. · Prior exposure to negotiating upstream agreements. · LNG-related experience is advantageous but not essential. · Experience with energy clients and sophisticated financial institutions is highly desirable.
