MENTAL HEALTH/COURT OF PROTECTION SOLICITOR - NEWCASTLE
A dedicated Mental Health/Court of Protection Solicitor is required to join the highly acclaimed Health, Care and Public Law Team of an International Law Firm based in Newcastle. This role offers the chance to work with an elite group of experts, providing legal advice and training to a diverse range of organisations, including NHS Trusts, independent sector providers, charities, commissioners, and investors.

You will gain exposure to high-profile clients and complex cases, engaging in meaningful regulatory and advisory work, focusing on the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Court of Protection matters.

The successful candidate will be:
- A qualified solicitor or barrister (newly qualified candidates welcome) with a keen interest or experience in health and social care law.
- Advocacy experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Excellent client handling and relationship skills.
- Highly motivated with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- Ability to adopt a commercial perspective on legal issues.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues.
