CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE SOLICITOR - NEWCASTLE (OUTSKIRTS) A highly regarded, Legal 500 listed, and Chambers ranked law firm based just outside of Newcastle is looking for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its ranks. With a strong reputation for providing expert legal advice in clinical negligence matters, this successful team are committed to delivering exceptional service to their clients while supporting their team members' professional growth. Their approach is one of collaboration, integrity, and client-focused care. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in claimant clinical negligence work, with a deep understanding of the complexities of such cases. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading firm with a strong salary offering and no set targets, allowing for a balanced and fulfilling career. You will: Manage a diverse and varied caseload of high-value claimant clinical negligence cases, from initial instruction through to settlement or trial. Provide expert legal advice to clients, guiding them through every step of their claim with compassion and professionalism. Draft legal documents, including letters of claim, pleadings, and settlement agreements. Represent clients, advocating for the best possible outcomes. Work closely with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies, including identifying and instructing medical experts. Stay current with developments in clinical negligence law and practice. Key Requirements: A minimum of 3 years PQE in claimant clinical negligence (strong experience in claimant work is essential). A thorough understanding of clinical negligence law and the ability to handle complex cases. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A strong client-focused approach with attention to detail and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients. Ability to manage a varied caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of work. A collaborative approach to working in a team, with the ability to work independently when required. What is on offer: A solid salary package, commensurate with experience.
