Head of Commercial - Manchester An opportunity for a senior Commercial lawyer to join this national award winning legal business, which provides services to both insured and non-insured clients. The role will be based in Manchester and also offers hybrid working. The Role This is a rare opportunity for a senior commercial lawyer with a proven track record in client management. As head of commercial, you will be working with a client base, which includes businesses, high net worth individuals, and associations across a broad spectrum of industries. The successful candidate will have the opportunity be instrumental in establishing a commercial department, capitalising upon an existing, strong client base. Clients range from SMEs to larger regional, national and international companies and comprise private, charitable and public sector businesses/organisations. Requirements The team is looking to recruit a senior Commercial lawyer with a commercial approach to client work. Whilst a following is not required, you will need proven experience in fostering and developing client relationships. The ability to take proactive approach to building professional relationships with new and existing clients of the firm and other professional contacts is essential for this role. The role would suit a partner / general counsel or someone ready to take the step up in to this role.
