Corporate Solicitor

Our client is looking for a talented individual to join their dynamic corporate team, handling a wide range of corporate transactions and advisory work for a diverse client base. This position offers the chance to work on high-quality matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and shareholder disputes. You will play an integral role in advising clients at both a strategic and operational level, providing a hands-on approach to complex and impactful corporate matters. Key Responsibilities: Manage and advise on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, and joint ventures. Provide strategic advice on corporate governance, compliance, and company law issues. Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, including shareholder agreements, supply contracts, and terms of business. Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, providing tailored and proactive legal advice. Support the team with business development activities, contributing to the growth of the corporate department. Key Requirements: PQE of 3+ years in Corporate Law, with a strong understanding of corporate governance and transactional work. Experience handling mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and business reorganisations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-focused approach. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines. A proactive and commercial mindset, with a drive to provide practical legal solutions.
