Our Client: We are excited to partner with a reputable regional law firm with a strong presence in Staffordshire. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, excellent training, and client-focused approach. With a solid client base and a growing reputation, they are now seeking a Qualified Solicitor to join their expanding Commercial Litigation team.
Role Overview: This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a keen interest in commercial litigation to take the next step in their legal career. The role offers exposure to a diverse caseload, including but not limited to contractual disputes, shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, professional negligence, and regulatory issues. You will work closely with experienced partners and senior solicitors, providing exceptional service to both local and national clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters from start to finish, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
* Provide expert legal advice on commercial disputes, contract law, and corporate governance issues.
* Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, settlement agreements, and other commercial contracts.
* Manage case files efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of legal services.
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third parties, including managing relationships with expert witnesses and barristers.
* Keep abreast of changes in commercial law and offer proactive solutions to clients.
* Support the growth of the department through business development initiatives and networking.
Key Requirements:
* Qualification: You will be a qualified solicitor with at least NQ+ experience in commercial litigation.
* Experience: A solid understanding of commercial litigation matters, including experience dealing with high-value, complex disputes. Prior experience gained within a commercial law firm is desirable.
* Skills: Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships. Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
