Known for its professional yet approachable culture, the firm is now seeking a talented Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor to work in a supportive environment, managing a diverse caseload of private client matters. Role Overview: As a Private Client Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE, you will manage your own caseload of high-quality matters, advising clients on wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, and tax planning. You will work closely with clients to provide clear, practical legal advice, often in sensitive and complex situations. The role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth within a supportive, collaborative team. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a diverse caseload of private client matters, including drafting wills, administering estates, and providing advice on trusts and inheritance tax planning. * Provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of private client issues, including powers of attorney, care home fees, and succession planning. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that you deliver a compassionate and high-quality service. * Assist in the management of more complex probate and estate administration matters, working closely with senior colleagues when necessary. * Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, providing timely and accurate legal documentation. * Contribute to business development, networking, and building the firm's private client practice. Key Requirements: * Qualification: Qualified solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in private client law. * Experience: Strong experience in private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, and inheritance tax planning. * Skills: Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal matters in a clear and empathetic manner. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy caseload. * Personality: A compassionate, approachable nature and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. You will enjoy working within a team but also be confident in managing your own matters. * Desire to Grow: A genuine interest in developing your private client practice and progressing within the firm.
