Construction Solicitor Are you a skilled and ambitious Construction Solicitor with 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE)? We are working with a highly regarded law firm in Warwickshire who are seeking a Construction Solicitor to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in both contentious and non-contentious construction law to further develop their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. About the Role: In this varied role, you will handle a broad range of construction law matters, including both contentious and non-contentious work. You will advise clients on construction contracts, disputes, procurement, and regulatory matters, acting for developers, contractors, subcontractors, and other industry professionals. Key Responsibilities: * Provide expert legal advice on both contentious and non-contentious construction matters, including contract negotiation, drafting, and dispute resolution. * Manage construction disputes, including adjudications, litigation, and arbitration, ensuring efficient and cost-effective outcomes. * Draft and review construction contracts, subcontracts, and agreements. * Advise on procurement strategies and risk management in construction projects. * Represent clients in court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution forums such as mediation and arbitration. * Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing high-quality, practical, and commercial legal advice. * Work closely with the wider team to provide collaborative, strategic solutions. Requirements: * Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE in construction law (contentious and non-contentious). * Strong experience in managing construction disputes and contractual matters. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. * A commercial and client-focused approach to legal practice. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
