Corporate Associate
Our client, a leading international law firm, is currently looking for an experienced Associate to join their Corporate team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and commercially focused lawyer to work on a variety of high-value, cross-border transactions in a fast-paced, global environment.
Role Overview:
As an Associate in the Corporate practice, you will advise clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory. You will work alongside senior lawyers on complex and high-profile transactions while gaining exposure to a variety of industries and jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal advice on corporate transactions, including structuring, drafting, and negotiating M&A deals, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and other corporate documents.
* Assist with due diligence processes and support on all stages of transaction execution.
* Draft and review agreements, contracts, and legal documentation, ensuring they are aligned with client objectives.
* Support senior associates and partners on high-profile, cross-border transactions.
* Build and maintain client relationships, providing commercial and practical legal advice tailored to their needs.
* Stay updated on developments in corporate law, as well as market trends and regional business practices.
About You:
* Background in M&A, private equity, and general corporate advisory.
* Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of corporate law and transaction processes, with an ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus but not required).
* Client-Focused: Strong client relationship-building skills, with a focus on providing practical, commercial advice.
* Team Player: Collaborative and adaptable, able to work effectively in a team-based environment across different practice areas and jurisdictions.
* Qualifications: You must be a qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction, and knowledge of UAE law and business practices would be advantageous.
