Family Solicitor The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join a well-regarded, small, and friendly firm based in Telford. The firm is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to handle a diverse caseload with a particular focus on divorce and financial remedy matters. You will work closely with a supportive team and have the chance to take ownership of your cases, while also benefiting from a high level of client contact and a strong emphasis on quality service. Key Responsibilities: Manage a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy applications, and related disputes Advise clients on a range of issues including asset division, maintenance, pensions, and complex financial settlements Drafting legal documents such as petitions, statements, and financial disclosure Represent clients in court, where required Provide clear and accurate advice to clients, ensuring a high level of service Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing practical and compassionate support Opportunity to assist with business development and marketing efforts as the firm continues to grow The Ideal Candidate: 2+ years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in family law, with a focus on divorce and financial remedy Strong understanding of financial settlements and complex property disputes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively Able to work independently and as part of a team A proactive approach to managing a varied caseload Experience in handling both private and publicly funded work (desirable but not essential) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Why Join This Firm?
