About the Firm:
We are representing one of Warwickshire's most respected law firms, known for its outstanding reputation and commitment to excellence in legal services. This prestigious firm has a long-standing presence in the region and provides a full range of legal services to a diverse client base. Due to continued growth and strategic expansion, the firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor at Partner level to lead and develop its thriving Family Law department.
Position Overview:
This is a senior leadership role suited for a highly skilled and motivated Family Solicitor with a strong track record in family law and a desire to take on a Partner-level position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling high-net-worth and complex family law cases, including divorce, financial settlements, child custody matters, prenuptial agreements, and other family-related disputes.
You will be instrumental in driving the success of the Family Law department, mentoring junior solicitors, and contributing to the firm's overall growth strategy. The firm offers an exceptional working environment, with the support to continue building your profile and career at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a caseload of high-value and complex family law matters, including matrimonial, financial remedy, child law, and cohabitation issues.
Provide expert legal advice to clients, demonstrating high levels of client care and professionalism.
Lead and oversee the Family Law team, providing guidance and support to junior solicitors and legal staff.
Work collaboratively with other Partners and departments to contribute to the firm's business development strategy.
Play an active role in marketing and networking efforts to attract new clients and enhance the firm's presence within Warwickshire and the surrounding areas.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law and regulatory requirements, ensuring the firm's services remain at the forefront of the legal market.
Manage financial performance, ensuring the department meets billing, profitability, and budgetary targets.
Represent the firm at relevant events and seminars, building relationships within the local community and legal sector.
Key Requirements:
Qualified solicitor with at least 8+ years of PQE in family law, with experience handling complex and high-net-worth cases.
A proven track record of managing a successful family law caseload and a history of achieving excellent results for clients.
Strong leadership skills, with previous experience of managing and mentoring legal teams.
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills, with a focus on providing high-quality service.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to business development and revenue generation.
A deep understanding of the legal and regulatory framework within family law.
Desire and ability to take on a leadership role within a progressive law firm.
Proven network within the Warwickshire area would be advantageous but not essential.
