Senior Associate - Funds About the Firm: Our client is a leading international law firm with a global presence, providing top-tier legal expertise across multiple jurisdictions. They work with Fortune 500 global corporations, financial institutions, investment fund managers, and international law firms. This firm is known for its commitment to excellence and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality legal services. Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Funds Associate to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of fund structures, including private equity funds, hedge funds, and other investment funds. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a team committed to excellence. Key Responsibilities: · Advising clients on the establishment, structuring, and ongoing management of investment funds. · Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating fund documentation, including offering memoranda, subscription agreements, and partnership agreements. · Providing regulatory advice and ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory requirements. · Assisting clients with fund launches and structuring. · Working closely with other departments and jurisdictions within the firm to provide seamless service to clients. · Keeping up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and advising clients accordingly. · Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Qualifications and Experience: · Qualified lawyer with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in funds law, preferably from a top-tier law firm. · Strong knowledge of investment funds, including private equity and hedge funds. · Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. · Experience working in an international law firm or similar environment is preferred.
