Tax Associate | 2 + PQE | national firm | Nottingham An award winning firm in Nottingham is searching for a tax associate to join their growing team in Nottingham. You will have the opportunity to work for a firm which is ranked in the Legal 500 and the Chambers & Partners High Net Worth Guide, you will play a key role in delivering top-tier legal services in tax matters. As a Tax Associate, your responsibilities will include: - Providing corporate tax support on share and asset sales and purchases - Advising on employee share schemes and employment tax, including legal drafting and technical advice - Offering guidance on real estate tax issues, including SDLT and VAT - Supporting senior team members with complex transactions and advice To excel in this role, the following skills and experience are essential: - Proficiency in legal drafting and research/analysis, with the ability to provide clear, concise, and commercially relevant solutions - Up-to-date knowledge of legal issues and developments (both HMRC guidance and legislation) - Desirable: Experience in drafting and negotiating tax covenants and warranties, employee share schemes, and advising on SDLT and VAT in property transactions - Good IT and keyboard skills, comfortable with electronic time recording and case management systems The ideal candidate will be: - A team player with high levels of personal commitment and initiative - Flexible, focused, and comfortable working closely with other teams across various offices - Interested in business development initiatives - Organised, with effective time management skills If you're interested in this tax vacancy, please apply now, forward an up to date copy of your CV.
