Role Requirements
- Experience: 1-7 years PQE with a proven track record in acting for housebuilders, promoters, developers, landowners, housing associations, and local authorities.
- Client Relationships: Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow client relationships, with contacts among leading residential development land agents.
- Technical Competence: Proficiency in handling routine transactions such as conditional and unconditional contracts, options, affordable housing transactions, and infrastructure agreements.
- Complex Transactions: Some experience with strategic land agreements, collaboration agreements, mixed-use schemes, and institutional investments.
- Knowledge: Good understanding of VAT, SDLT issues, and affordable housing transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality client service and care.
- Manage financial aspects including time recording, billing, and achieving firm targets.
- Actively contribute to business development to retain and expand the client base.
- Maintain up-to-date technical expertise and continuously develop interpersonal skills.
- Ensure compliance with SRA competence standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Relevant experience and appropriate PQE for the role.
- Strong commercial acumen and industry understanding.
- Proven financial management and case management skills.
- Proficiency with case management systems, electronic time recording, and Microsoft packages.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, embodying the firm's values.
