Construction Disputes Lawyer BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting a UK Top 100 Law Firm with the recruitment of a Contentious Construction Solicitor (5+ PQE) at the Senior Associate level to join its Construction Disputes team in Bristol. This position has arisen due to significant growth over the past few years and a desire to further expand the firms highly regarded construction team. This firm can offer a supportive, friendly and flexible working environment with a very sensible expectation in terms of working hours. The role: - The firm is looking for a contentious construction solicitor to work on contentious construction dispute resolution and advisory work - You will be part of a team that advises a wide range of construction dispute matters, ranging from traditional final account/loss and expense type claims, to significant defect issues and PFI/projects disputes (PFI experience is desirable but not essential for the role). - You will work within your team providing quality service to clients in matters of construction and engineering disputes for a broad range of clients across a variety of sectors - The role will also involve a high degree of client contact and business development activity Key responsibilities of the successful contentious construction solicitor: - Providing specialist advice in all aspects of building, construction and engineering disputes - The resolution of problems in construction law and the promotion of initiatives to this end - Advising clients on complex matters and risk management - Undertaking all dispute resolution procedures including court, arbitration and adjudication and other forms of ADR, including mediation and early neutral evaluation - Supporting other areas of the practice with your technical expertise when necessary About you: - 5+ years' PQE in construction - contentious or mixed backgrounds will be considered - Strong academic background - Excellent litigation skills and construction knowledge - Client centric approach - Strong technical knowledge The offer: - A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package - A genuinely caring and supportive working environment - An excellent development platform comes as part and parcel of this role If you're interested in this Contentious Construction Solicitor vacancy, please apply now or contact Kelly-Anne Willis at BCL Legal for more information.
