Commercial Lawyer - FMCG sector - East Midlands

We are delighted to be working exclusively with a global FMCG Group, which is a household name in the sector and partners with some of the biggest brands and retailers in the world. The inspirational General Counsel is currently growing a high-performing and highly respected legal team within the business, and seeks an additional commercial lawyer to help facilitate further business growth. Working in a tight-knit team, you will be working on a variety of generalist commercial law matters, including: · drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts with key customers; · advising the business on bids and tenders; · building relationships in the business with key stakeholders; and · assisting on the training, education and implementation of legal operations, processes and procedures in the business. Personality wise, the business is looking for someone who is adaptable and excited by a challenge. It is also key that you are able to forge relationships with key stakeholders in the business. You will be circa 3-6 PQE and have significant commercial contracts experience. This is a fantastic first in-house opportunity for a lawyer currently in private-practice, seeking a first in house move into a collegiate legal team and highly exciting sector. The business operates a hybrid working policy and there is a requirement for 3 days per week in the East Midlands headquarters. The salary and package is a range depending on PQE level and experience.
