Data Privacy Lawyer - West Midlands (0.8 FTE or Full Time)

We are delighted to be working with a well-known and reputable West Midlands based organisation in their search for a Data Privacy Lawyer who will lead on all things GDPR! Reporting into the Head of Legal, you will be responsible for: · Leading on existing and future GDPR projects; · Planning and implementing the GDPR strategy going forward; · Advising from a GDPR perspective on commercial contracts that the organisation enters into; and · Liaising with supervisory bodies i.e. the ICO and ensuring the business remains compliant with new legislation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an in-house lawyer seeking more exposure and responsibility on GDPR matters, or for a private practice lawyer with data privacy experience already specialising, or seeking to specialise in the area.
