Residential Conveyancer

Residential Property Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer-Northampton -Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm (37.5 hours per week) We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to lead a team based in Northampton. The role will involve handling a caseload of a variety of residential property matters including sales and purchases for both freehold and leasehold as well as landlord and tenant and part exchanges. KEY SKILLS: · Sound Residential Property experience with a recognised Residential practice including a good knowledge of the CQS scheme. · Ability to manage own caseload and manage a collaborative team. · Good drafting and proof-reading skills. · Intermediate to advanced IT and online systems ability (Microsoft Office, legal industry specific document management systems, online portals/datarooms etc.) · Commercial, practical and financial awareness. · Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels. · Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills with a strong ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm. · Able to work collaboratively and fit into a friendly but busy team. · Good organisational ability. · Ability to work to deadlines and under the pressure that comes with residential conveyancing work.
