Professional Indemnity Solicitor We have a new exciting opportunity for a NQ-3 years PQE Solicitor to join a leading insurance team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to join this highly regarded and growing UK Professional Liability team. The team are interested in speaking to candidates with general Professional Indemnity experience. Team This' professional liability team deal with all areas of professional liability and handle claims of all sizes and complexity, including for Insurers who underwrite some of the world's largest financial institutions, global law firms, the 'Big Four' accounting firms, as well as for Insurers who underwrite regional, local and smaller institutions and firms. Clients Insurers Solicitors Accountants and other financial professionals Brokers Insolvency practitioners Universities Construction professionals Cases Professional indemnity claims across all lines of business including against solicitors, financial professionals, insurance brokers, construction professionals and IT consultants as well as handling insurance coverage advice /policy disputes. Required experience 1-3 years' UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with the relevant experience* Experience of assisting on large cases in a team environment and ideally some experience of running own professional indemnity files. Familiar with professional indemnity policies and coverage issues. Previous experience of client contact and attendance at business development events preferred, and/or willingness to engage actively in client development. The team of lawyers handle both contentious and non-contentious matters, and provide a range of specialist legal services, for many industry sectors but we have particular expertise in litigation and dispute resolution, especially in defending insurance and liability claims.
