Clinical Negligence Solicitor - Lancashire Location: Lancashire (On-site) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent PQE: 4+ Years Specialisms: Clinical Negligence | Personal Injury | Claimant Litigation An established and expanding law firm in Lancashire is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE in clinical negligence, ideally with complementary experience in personal injury law, to take on a rewarding and challenging caseload. The Role As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload of claimant matters, from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, with additional opportunity to support on high-value and complex multi-track litigation. The position offers genuine progression potential within a supportive, collaborative team. Key Responsibilities: Handle a varied caseload of clinical negligence and personal injury matters, from inception to conclusion. Work independently, as well as collaboratively on larger cases. Liaise with clients with empathy and clarity, providing exceptional client care throughout the litigation process. Maintain compliance with SRA Code of Conduct and regulatory standards. Utilise case management systems effectively to manage files and meet deadlines. Participate in the firm's free legal advice clinic on a rota basis, including occasional Saturday hours. Candidate Profile: Minimum 4 years PQE in clinical negligence law with demonstrable success in managing your own caseload. Experience with personal injury litigation, including portal and multi-track claims, is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical law, procedural rules, and claim progression at all stages. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Compassionate and client-focused approach, with a commitment to achieving results. Confident working independently and under minimal supervision.
