Head of Legal

HEAD OF LEGAL BCL Legal are working with a fast growing and ethical Fintech who are looking for a Head of Legal to join their team to help oversee the Legal team as the business goes through a period of signifcant growth. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and build a high performing Legal team overseeing recruitment, budget and deliverables - Draft and negotiate and wide range of contracts, agreements and Legal documents to support business operations - Identify and assess any Legal risks that arise from business operations and ensure relevant solutions - Maintain a knowledge of any regulatory developments that will affect the business - Oversee corporate governance matters - Work with the CLO to develop and implement legal strategies About You: - Extensive commercial contracts experience - Experience working at Head of Legal level - Experience in a financial services or fintech envrionment - Knowledge of structuring financial products - Litigation/Contentions experience - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
