Real Estate Senior Associate | 5+ PQE | Leeds

THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior real estate lawyer to join their growing real estate team, working across various aspects of commercial property with a particular emphasis on acquisitions, disposals, development agreements and the full range of landlord and tenant matters. As a senior member of the team, you will take on and run an existing caseload with limited partner supervision.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Both freehold and leasehold sale and acquisition transactions;
· Negotiation of development agreements and overage deeds;
· Negotiation of agreements for lease, leases and wide range of ancillary landlord and tenant documentation;
· Preparation of reports on title, certificates of title and advice notes; and
· Working across legal departments with others as part of a project team.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
· Qualified Solicitor with minimum 5 years PQE
· Experience working across various types of commercial property work including investment, real estate finance, development and landlord & tenant
· Strong experience in bespoke drafting and legal analysis
· Ideally some experience mentoring junior members of the team
· Enthusiasm and keen to work collaboratively with colleagues
· The ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
· A genuine interest in business development
