Construction Solicitor (non-contentious)

Transactional Construction Solicitor NQ-3 PQE - Leeds A UK-Top 100 firm is looking for a non-contentious construction solicitor to join their growing team, based in their Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly-qualified solicitor looking to develop their experience in a nationally recognised team and play a key part in driving further success. The construction team work nationally cross-office as one collaborative team. There is an established client base spanning a wide range of sectors including education, housing, local authority, health, leisure, waste and renewable energy. The team has grown significantly in terms of size and revenue in recent years and there are ambitious plans for further growth, which means there are excellent career prospects for the right individual. This role will involve working closely with the nationally recognised Partners on high value and often complex instructions. Under the relevant supervision, you will advise clients on the delivery of projects using and adapting industry standard forms or bespoke documentation. The team has significant experience of long-term outsourcing and partnership working arrangements, as well as extensive experience of advising on all the PPP models, including the PFI market. They are also acting in a number of significant Government construction programmes for the delivery of new hospitals, social housing, schools and highways. ABOUT YOU · Qualified Solicitor, ideally NQ-3 years' PQE. · Experience gained in an established construction practice, ideally non-contentious. · A good team player with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across other offices. · Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients. · Ambitious and eager to take on challenging work in the development of your career. · The ability to manage time effectively and meet competing demands. · Willing to engage in business development.
