Commercial Disputes Associate or Senior Associate | 4+ PQE | Leeds with hybrid working A leading national firm is looking to welcome an experienced Commercial Disputes Associate or Senior Associate to join their successful team, based in their Leeds office with hybrid working. This is a high-performing but equally sociable team with excellent quality work and ambitious plans for growth. THE OPPORTUNITY This is an exciting time to join this highly regarded national firm following significant growth, both in terms of size and in revenue. There are exciting plans to continue with further growth, particularly in their regional offices. The Leeds office itself has a strong people culture, with friendly and supportive teams which makes it a truly enjoyable place to work. You will work closely with Partners and the wider national CDR team handling a wide variety of commercial disputes for a range of matters including corporate transactions, property related agreements, development & construction litigation, complex projects and trading contracts. The team is friendly, supportive and sociable, working collaboratively with colleagues from other offices. You will be appropriately supported by the Partners and senior team members and in turn be asked to support junior members of the team and further your own development as well as theirs. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes: · Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE with experience within a broad range of commercial dispute resolution matters. · Ambition to build and grow a network of clients. · Confidence to shape business development initiatives with colleagues and to take ownership and drive those initiatives. · Equipped to balance the needs of a busy case load and a variety of instructions. · Excellent inter-personal skills and a confident manner in engaging with clients. · A strong team work ethic and the ability to work effectively under pressure. · Drive, commitment, self-motivation and a "can do" attitude. · Exceptional attention to detail.
