Contentious Construction Associate or Senior Associate - Leeds
A UK-Top 50 firm is looking for a Contentious Construction Associate or Senior Associate to join their ambitious team in Leeds. The team has an excellent reputation across the UK and acts for some of the best-known names in the construction and engineering industry.

The contentious construction team deal with a wide range of challenging work across the country, spanning all aspects of the built environment and process plant, from infrastructure to commercial and residential buildings, offices, retail, logistics and production facilities. Depending on your level of experience, you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload, as well as assisting the wider national team on complex matters. The team act for public and private sector employers, contractors, funds, consultants and sub-contractors and you will have exposure to key clients from the outset.
ABOUT YOU
You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 6 months experience in an established construction practice, this may have been as part of a training contract. The team are very much in growth mode, so more experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will also possess the following:
· Ideally NQ-8 years' PQE.
· Experience of contentious construction work or a mix of contentious and advisory.
· Self-starting and friendly with excellent interpersonal skills.
· A strong commercial acumen and a solid understanding of the construction industry.
· Willing to be a part of business development.
OTHER INFORMATION
· Competitive salary from £58,000 depending on experience.
