Employment Solicitor or Associate - Leeds A UK-Top 100 firm is looking for a talented Employment Solicitor or Associate to join their highly regarded team in Leeds. As a member of this team, you will manage your own caseload across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The team operate on a truly national basis, providing the opportunity to work with a wide range of colleagues and clients. Acting largely for employers, there is an impressive roster of clients including national and multi-national organisations spanning their core sectors i.e. commercial services, higher education, financial services and housing. There is also the opportunity to be involved in the wider team's health employment matters, offering a truly wide-ranging opportunity. With around 100 new litigation instructions each year, the team's litigation experience is second to none. You will have the opportunity to be involved in ground-breaking and often high-profile employment litigation, whether in the Tribunal, the EAT, the Court of Appeal or the High Court. ABOUT YOU · Qualified Solicitor ideally 2-5 years' PQE. · A broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment experience. · Ideally experience gained across one or more of the team's core sectors, including financial services, general commercial, higher education, and housing. · Demonstrable case management of complex Employment Tribunal claims. · Experience of advising on employee relations issues including settlement negotiations. · The ability to manage time effectively and meet competing demands. · Exceptional drafting and legal analysis skills. · Willing to engage in business development.
